Raceday glamour at Fashion in the Field

Eyes were momentarily drawn from hooves and manes to stilettos and fascinators as ladies and gentlemen of all ages stepped out in their Sunday best for the annual Fashion in the Field event at Richmond Park Racecourse.

The sun came out to play as women, men and children gathered on the field to have their outfits judged by a panel of fashion enthusiasts and about 3500 punters who turned out to the event on Sunday.

"They did look pretty glorious, the ladies put a lot of effort into their outfits and the blokes made an effort too which was great," said event organiser Chris Butler.
