Interislander Summer Festival Nelson Harness Races in January 2015

The Interislander Summer Festival has carved out a loyal following in Nelson over the past seven years, with last year’s success part of an overall record attendance for the series, so we are absolutely expecting the same again this year.

Live music, local food, free kids entertainment and sizzling racing action, makes Interislander Summer Festival the perfect day out for the whole family.

The holiday period can be an expensive and stressful time for many. The Festival provides the best value entertainment, coupled with a relaxing setting, making it the perfect environment for creating fun family memories.

The event takes place on Friday 9 and Sunday 11 January, gates open at 9.30am on both days with racing expected to start at 2pm on Friday and midday on the Sunday. Entry will cost $10 for Adults and children under 18 years are FREE. There are still a limited amount of hospitality packages available on the Friday with Sunday full to capacity.
