The Nelson Harness Racing Club hold their annual harness race meets at Richmond Park, Richmond, Nelson. The Interislander Summer Festival will be held on Friday 6th January and Sunday 8th January 2012.
Although the races are of course the most important part of the weekend, it is not all about the horses. The Festival offers a variety of additional entertainment for both young and old. The event attracts over 7,500 people and has become an important date in our regions event calendar.
